- Lab installation required: Replacement prescription lenses must be installed by our partner lab. You will need to send your existing eyewear (frame and lenses) to the lab for professional mounting.
- Next steps: After placing your order, email rx@riaeyewear.com for shipping instructions. Please do not send your eyewear before receiving instructions.
- Production time: Custom RX lens production and mounting typically take 15–30 business days. Shipping time is additional.
- Checkout estimates: Delivery estimates shown at checkout do not include custom RX production and mounting time.
- Lens appearance: Prescription lens tints may vary slightly from their non-prescription counterparts.
How Lens Replacements Work
All RIA prescription replacement lenses must be professionally mounted by our partner lab. We do not offer prescription lenses for customer self-installation.
Here's how it works:
- Purchase your replacement prescription lenses.
- Email rx@riaeyewear.com to receive shipping instructions.
- Send your existing eyewear, including the frame and current lenses, to our partner lab.
- Our lab will professionally mount your new prescription lenses and return your completed eyewear.
Professional installation helps ensure proper lens alignment and prevents damage to your frames or lenses.
RX Returns & Prescription Issues
Prescription & Lab Issues
Confirmed manufacturing or processing errors made by RIA or our partner lab are corrected at no charge.
If the prescription provided was incorrect or needs updating, our RX team will review your situation and help determine the appropriate resolution.
Preference-Based Returns
Eligible prescription lens returns may be initiated within 30 days of delivery for fit, lens color, or personal preference.
Refunds to the original payment method are subject to a $95 custom-lens fee per returned RX lens set. Alternatively, customers may receive the full merchandise amount paid as store credit without the fee.

This is my 2nd pair. Love these glasses! Excellent eye protection from ricocheted balls and reckless drives. The chromatic lenses make them great for both indoor and outdoor use with great visibility. They stay firmly in place during the most vigorous points. I can’t imagine getting better prescription glasses anywhere else.

I lost my previous pair of Vantage - Single Vision Rx sunglasses that I wore for driving and tennis. Unfortunately, I was headed to Wyoming in just 2 weeks for some hiking on a glacier. Your customer service department expedited my order and I received a new pair a couple of days earlier than expected--just in time for my trip. They are better for driving than my regular transition lenses that cost 3x as much.

I’ve had these glasses for about six months and I’m not particularly happy with them I paid $450 for them and The lens keeps falling out and they have a bad glare when playing inside.

Living in South Florida having these pricey glasses fog up is not good. They sent me a complimentary anti fog spray but still haven’t gotten it. Shipping from their site is slow.

I really like the fit, stays on why playing, the color of the lens kind of throws me off, having to get used to them. I hope to get used to the, I bit on the pricy side for prescription lens.
