Squash Eyewear FAQs
What is the difference between clear HD+ and Hybrid Orange HD+?
Clear HD+ offers a traditional, crystal-clear viewing experience, while Hybrid Orange HD+ has a very slight orange hue with a blue-light anti-reflective coating. We recommend Hybrid Orange HD+ for indoor play if you play in extremely bright conditions and are sensitive to light.
What is the ASTM 3164 Standard?
The ASTM F3164 standard ensures that eye protectors for squash are designed and tested to a specific level of performance, particularly in terms of impact resistance and optical clarity, to help safeguard players' vision. It replaced the racquet sports eyewear provisions previously covered by the broader ASTM F803 standard. This means it offers more specific and updated requirements tailored to the unique demands of racquet sports like squash.
