U.S. Returns & Exchanges
We want you to test your new eyewear and make sure it is for you, so our return and exchange policy lasts up to 30 days. However, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be returned in the original packaging with all of the accessories included.
Return For a Refund
To return your product, please use our Returns Portal to obtain a pre-paid USPS return label. After you have received your return label, please box up the eyewear, print and attach the label, and drop it at a USPS location).
Exchange For a Different Sunglass Model
- To exchange for a different style, you need to return your original purchase and create a new order. This way, you get your new pair as fast as possible.
- Please use our Returns Portal to obtain a pre-paid USPS return label. After you have received your return label, please box up the eyewear, print and attach the label, and drop at a USPS location.
- Once your product has been received at our fulfillment center, we will immediately issue a refund upon inspection for any damage.
Exchange For a Different Color
- Access our Returns Portal
- Select the original pair to return
- Select Option: - "Exchange For A Different Color"
- Proceed with the instructions to finish the exchange process
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. You will receive a confirmation email, but the credit may take 3-5 business days to post to your credit card account.

RX Remakes, Returns & Refunds
RX Remakes (Lab Errors or Incorrect Prescriptions)
If there is an issue with your RX lenses due to a manufacturing error, incorrect prescription, or lab defect, we’ll make it right.If something doesn’t feel right with your vision, please submit your details through our RX Issue & Lab Check page so our team can review your case and assist as quickly as possible: 👉 Submit an RX issue here.
In confirmed cases of lab or prescription error:
- We will remake your lenses at no cost
- No fees will be deducted
- Our team will guide you through the next steps
If your RX is reviewed by our lab and confirmed to be made correctly, but you’re still experiencing discomfort, we’ll help guide you through the next steps. In these cases, the return is handled as a preference-based RX return, with the same refund or store credit options available.Our goal is to make sure your vision is right — and we’re here to help if it isn’t.
RX Returns (Preference-Based)
If you decide your RX order isn’t right for you — including fit, style, lens color, or personal preference — you can return it within 30 days of delivery. Within that window, you may choose one of the following options:
- Partial refund to your original payment method, less a $95 custom-lens fee. This fee helps partially cover the cost of producing custom prescription lenses, which cannot be reused or resold.
- OR -
- Full store credit for the value of your RX order, with no lens fee deducted. Store credit can be used toward any future purchase and does not expire.
RX items must be returned in good condition. Please contact us at team@riaeyewear.com to obtain an RX return label.
International Returns
We accept returns for international orders within 30 days of order delivery; however, the holiday window extension currently applies to international orders as well. We do not cover the cost of return labels for international orders. Please email us at team@riaeyewear.com for return address instructions should you need to return an international order. All taxes/VAT, duties, and customs fees are non-refundable and will not be refunded when the product is returned to us.
International Refunds
