Enhance your vision with Court HD+

Get a visual performance edge with Court HD+ lenses, developed with ZEISS specifically for bright court conditions.

Track the Ball Better

Powered by ZEISS™ optics, Court HD+ uses a proprietary brown-amber tint engineered to reduce excess green and blue light while enhancing the yellow of the tennis ball. The result is stronger court-specific contrast that helps you track the ball, read its speed and spin, and time your movement and swing more effectively.

Which tennis sunglasses are best for bright, sunny courts?

Court HD+ is our recommended lens for full and partial sun. Its tennis-specific brown-amber tint is engineered to enhance contrast between the ball and the surrounding court, helping the ball stand out while keeping your eyes comfortable in bright conditions.

Should tennis sunglasses be polarized or non-polarized?

For tennis, we prefer non-polarized lenses. Court HD+ is engineered to enhance contrast and ball visibility while preserving the natural visual cues players rely on for depth perception and tracking a fast-moving ball.

A common misconception is that polarization and UV protection are the same thing. They are not. Polarization reduces glare, while UV protection blocks harmful ultraviolet rays. Court HD+ lenses remain intentionally non-polarized while providing 100% UV400 protection.

I play indoors, at night, or in changing light. Which lens should I choose?

Court HD+ is designed for full and partial sun. For other conditions:

Can you make prescription lenses?

Yes. Many RIA frames are available with prescription Court HD+ lenses. Compatibility depends on your prescription and the frame you choose, particularly with more wrapped styles. Explore our Prescription Eyewear or contact us if you need help finding the right option.

Which lens is best for bright sun?

Court HD+ was developed specifically to give you the best possible contrast in sunny conditions on the court, making the ball pop while keeping your eyes relaxed.

Why RIA Tennis Sunglasses?

Everything you do on the tennis court depends on how well you see the ball — from reading its speed and spin to getting into position, timing your swing, and making clean contact. The right tennis sunglasses should help you see the game more clearly without becoming a distraction.

RIA’s bestselling non-polarized Court HD+ lenses are made in partnership with ZEISS and tuned specifically for tennis. Their contrast-enhancing tint is designed to make the tennis ball stand out against the court while helping reduce visual fatigue in bright conditions.

Our lightweight performance frames are designed to stay secure during fast, multidirectional movement, and many styles are also available with prescription tennis lenses for players who need vision correction.

RIA tennis sunglasses also provide 100% UV400 protection and use shatterproof, impact-resistant lens materials engineered for the demands of active court play.

RIA is performance eyewear built for the way tennis is actually played.
