- Our lenses are custom-made here in the US and take 20-30 business to be surfaced, cut, and mounted into a frame before they ship.
- We match our lens tints as closely as possible to our non-prescription lenses, but we cannot guarantee an exact match due to the small variations in color refraction caused by a custom prescription.
- Prescription lenses can be slightly thicker/heavier than non-prescription lenses.
We offer free shipping (US-only) on orders over $100. We have expedited shipping options available for purchase at checkout as well. Please note, the shipping carriers do not guarantee delivery times, with the exception of UPS Next Day Air.

FAQ
Are the lenses polarized or non-polarized?
Our lenses are not polarized as polarized lenses block horizontal glare - while this is useful for everyday wear, it can have a negative effect on your depth perception on the court and course. When you need to see the ball clearly to time your swing, a polarized lens will be an impediment. Regardless, all of our lenses are still 100% UVA/B protective.
Can I return an RX purchase?
We do NOT accept returns for RX products once they have been processed. Please consider purchasing a non-RX pair first if you want to confirm that our frames are a good fit.
Can I Use My HSA/FSA?
These accounts can only be used for “qualifying medical expenses” — a list that is published every year by the IRS. All of our prescription eyewear and prescription lenses are HSA/FSA eligible.
- Purchase FSA/HSA eligible eyewear (all of our RX products are eligible)
- Request an itemized receipt from our RX team (team@riaeyewear.com)
- Submit the itemized receipt to your benefits provider for reimbursement.
What is an FSA/HSA?
Both FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) are pre-tax savings accounts, set up exclusively for (qualifying) medical/health expenses. These are often offered as an employee benefit, allowing the individual to set aside part of their paycheck (before taxation) for forthcoming health expenditures in order to make healthcare a little more affordable.
Do I Have an HSA or FSA?
Have you set up one of these accounts through your employer? If this is something offered to you as part of your benefits package, your employer and/or HR department will have details on how to get started.
