What's the difference between Synergy and Model One?
Model One is RIA's original shield — a semi-rimless, spherical 7 base frame that set the standard. Synergy is its direct evolution, moving to a fully rimless, cylindrical 6 base with a larger 57mm lens height for an extended field of view. The lower wrap of a cylindrical shield also produces less optical distortion for a cleaner view. And despite the added lens height, Synergy stays at the same superlight 28g — made possible by removing the top bar of the frame.
What sports is Synergy [Clear HD+] designed for?
Synergy [Clear HD+] is engineered for indoor racquet sports, including pickleball, tennis, squash, racquetball, and padel. Its ZEISS Clear HD+ lens helps reduce indoor glare while maintaining a clear, unobstructed view of the court.
What are the benefits of the rimless sports shield design?
The rimless cylindrical shield lens provides a panoramic field of view without frame obstructions. This lightweight sports shield design helps players track fast-moving balls and opponents more naturally during play.
Can Synergy [Clear HD+] be used outdoors?
Yes. While optimized for indoor environments, the Clear HD+ lens provides 100% UV400 protection and can be worn outdoors in low-light conditions.
