Why We Made it
Newport started with a simple request from our community: eyewear that carries RIA’s clean, functional DNA into everyday life. We spent two years refining the design and quietly testing early versions at tennis pop-ups to ensure the fit, balance, and style felt unmistakably RIA — even off the court and course.

Newport’s easy-wearing frame design is complimented seamlessly by our Bottle Green LP+ lenses by Carl ZEISS for the most comfortable viewing experience on sunny days. These semi-polarized lenses are 100% UVA/B protective and cut harsh glare to keep your eyes refreshed.
Premium Acetate Frames
The Newport frame starts with newest acetate innovation from the material masters at Mazzucchelli: Acetate Renew. Created from 60% bio-based acetate and 40% recycled acetate, Acetate Renew has the same luxurious feel as virgin acetate and results in a significant reduction in greenhouse gases when compared to the traditional manufacturing process.
Handcrafted in Italy
Each pair of Newport frames is meticulously crafted by hand in our small-batch factory in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. The attention to detail in every finished frame mirrors how we have approached frame-making from the very beginning, because to us, how you make anything is how you make everything.
