FAQ
Are the lenses polarized or non-polarized?
Our lenses are not polarized as polarized lenses block horizontal glare - while this is useful for everyday wear, it can have a negative effect on your depth perception on the court and course. When you need to see the ball clearly to time your swing, a polarized lens will be an impediment. Regardless, all of our lenses are still 100% UVA/B protective.
Can I return an RX purchase?
We do NOT accept returns for RX products once they have been processed. Please consider purchasing a non-RX pair first if you want to confirm that our frames are a good fit.
How do I change the lenses?

How do I adjust the temples?
If you are purchasing the Reflex RX or Vantage RX, see our temple adjustment tutorial here: Sunglass Care. If you are purchasing Forte RX, the temples are not adjustable.
Can I Use My HSA/FSA?
These accounts can only be used for “qualifying medical expenses” — a list that is published every year by the IRS. All of our prescription eyewear and prescription lenses are HSA/FSA eligible.

What is an FSA/HSA?
Both FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) are pre-tax savings accounts, set up exclusively for (qualifying) medical/health expenses. These are often offered as an employee benefit, allowing the individual to set aside part of their paycheck (before taxation) for forthcoming health expenditures in order to make healthcare a little more affordable.

I know most 5 star reviews are going to be "expectedly" good... These glasses have been unexpectedly good! Typically, I don't wear glasses. I have the mildest of prescriptions (should I use one). However, the last few years on the tennis court, I've felt things were more and more "fuzzy." I could see the ball, but couldn't figure out if it was the power and/or spin (or my eyes) that made the ball so fuzzy. Nope. So I read a ton of reviews and landed on Ria. Best. Decision. Ever. I am seeing the ball better than I can remember, and the photochromatic lens are clear inside, and darken appropriately outdoors. I like them so much, I now use them for golf as well! Take that step - you won't regret it!

I took risk, and ordered prescription sunglasses from RIA knowing very little about them. What I discovered was a pleasant surprise. I had been a loyal Oakley customer for several years. But the Oakleys were never snug to my face. So I gave RIA a try. I selected the Vantage frames with the golf lenses. They fit perfectly and stay in place. They are light weight so there is no issue there either. The best part is that they are so comfortable you can almost forget you are wearing them. I play golf and for the first time in years I can see my ball land from 200 yards.
Customer Service—simply fantastic. Before ordering I uploaded my prescription and the customer service rep, Meredith was fantastic. Once I ordered my sunglasses, I would inquire when they would ship, and Meredith responded with a day to keep me up to date on my sunglasses. Chris was the second representative I dealt with. He too responded quickly to any of my concerns and was simply fantastic to work with. I had one minor issue once I received my sunglasses and Chris was quick to resolve the issue, which was nothing more than a mark on the lens which easily washed off. In every communication with RIA, they were quick to respond, answered any concern I may have had. And the sunglasses are fabulous. I highly recommend them for any leisure or sports activity. You’ll be glad you did.
