My wife bought these for tennis, but the frames are much too big for her (she's subsequently contacted RIA Customer Service about making glasses with smaller frames more suitable for women), so lucky me, I got them! I have used Oakleys and Under Armor sunglasses for tennis for a number of years. Playing in the bright Florida sun, sun glasses are a must, plus they provide additional eye protection. I was amazed at the clarity and contrast the RIA sunglasses provide. They are not polarized, so there is absolutely zero distortion. The contrast allows me to pick up the ball more quickly and track it more efficiently. I can't say they've been instrumental in improving my game, but they sure have helped visually. For tennis or other fast moving ball sports, these RIAs can't be beat! But, come on RIA, make some smaller frame models for the ladies! Sold on your product - the best I have tried.
